Show moreThe Town of Newmarket is set to begin work on updating its Water and Wastewater Comprehensive Plan (formerly known as the master plan) to ensure its water and wastewater services (sewers, watermains and pumping stations) can continue to meet current and future demands. A review and analysis of the Town’s water and wastewater services will result in a Comprehensive Plan that will service projected growth scenarios through 2051.

The mandate of the Waste Management Advisory Sub-Committee shall be to:
a) give overall guidance and direction during the preparation of the City’s long-term Solid Waste Management Master Plan;
b) advise Council through the Public Works Committee of the study progress and to receive feedback, advice and direction, as appropriate.
