The Walk Wheel Windsor Plan (Active Transportation Master Plan) sets the foundation for developing well-connected, attractive active transportation networks that are safe, convenient and user-friendly, no matter what mode of transportation people use.

Community Adaptation / Resilience Plan
Degrees of Change – Windsor’s Climate Change Adaptation Plan, 2020 outlines a series of actions to reach 7 key objectives: 1. Integrate Climate Change Thinking and Response 2. Community Emissions Reduction/ Mitigation Plan
Windsor's Community Energy Plan is aimed at improving energy efficiency; modifying land use planning; reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions; and fostering green energy solutions throughout Windsor, while supporting local economic development. CEP encompasses residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, as well as institutional and transportation energy use and water use.

Community Emissions Reductions Progress Report
Annual community and corporate GHG emissions Inventory Reports are provided to the Council. The 2022 Community and Corporate Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Energy Monitoring Report was brought to Council in April 2024.

Community EV Strategy
The City is currently developing a Community EV Strategy.
Community GHG Reduction Targets
The City of Windsor's current approved city-wide GHG reduction target is 40% by 2041(below 2014 levels). The council has approved, in principle, a net zero by 2050. A net-zero transition plan is under development.
Community Retrofit Program
The City will launch a Residential Deep Energy Efficiency Retrofit by the end of 2023.

Corporate Adaptation / Resilience Plan
Degrees of Change, Windsor's Climate Change Adaptation Plan is aimed at creating a climate resilient city and minimizing risks to the community through the advancement of sustainable policies, infrastructure investment and public education. The plan addresses community and corporate risks.

Municipal Fleet Electrification Plan
The City of Windsor is updating the existing Green Fleet Plan, 2012.
Net Zero Municipal Facilities Commitment/Standard
The Town of Windsor is in the processes of completing Net Zero Feasibility Studies on several community buildings.
Urban Forest Plans
The City is developing an Urban Forest Management Plan, expected by the end of 2023.
