| Active Transportation Plan | The Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP) builds upon key policies and plans, including the City’s Transportation Master Plan (2021). It aims to provide directions on improving physical and social infrastructure and creating a more accessible and equitable network for users of all ages and abilities. | Community Climate Change Action / Environment Funds | Residents who wish to contribute positively to their communities through various events and activities can apply for up to $1,500 in funding to support their initiatives.
The pilot project is designed to support community projects and events that will enhance the quality of life in St. Catharines’ neighbourhoods. Projects can range from community festivals to clothing swaps, to information sessions on how to do taxes or a community clean-up event. | Urban Forest Plans | The Urban Forestry Management Plan was approved in 2011 with the purpose to ensure that the St. Catharines community will enjoy all the benefits of trees. The goal of the plan is to state what is needed to manage the urban forest and to provide the roadmap to reach those goals. To realize this potential, it is essential for the community to plan, design and maintain the urban forest as green infrastructure. | ||
